The Story of Fashion with Karl Lagerfeld
Back in 1987 Karl Lagerfeld did a TV special about fashion which aired on A&E.
Now, 23 years later, the network decided to release the three-part series on DVD at a price of $49.99.
The trilogy moves through cultural history, pointing out trendsetters from art, music and film, and portrays a great number of influential fashion designers such as Poiret, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Quant and Dior. Along with Lagerfeld, the designers Giorgio Armani, Pierre Cardin, Donna Karan and the critic Carrie Donovan afford us fascinating insights into the sensual world of fashion.

VMan May 2010 feat Shrek
Due to the new Shrek movie coming out on May 31st, Dreamworks decided to move the promotion on to the next level by featuring the cartoon characters in a fashion spread.
Little did they know about the racy theme of the spread cause now it seems they are regretting big time!
A rep for Paramount, the distributor of Dreamworks films, told Fox411.com. exclusively "In hindsight the studio would have declined to have the characters participate" adding “I don't think Walt Disney would have allowed Snow White and Cinderella to appear in a magazine spread that made it look like they were about to participate in a menage a trois”
What did Dreamworks expect for a male fashion magazine?
It seems someone didn't do a briefing before accepting a job deal...
