Tim Gunn's New Book!

Wow I can't wait to get my hand on this! My favorite fashion guru will be releasing his new book titled: "Gunn's Golden Rules: Life's Little Lessons For Making It Work" and it will hit the shelves on September 7th!

And by the looks of this article it will be a best seller!

In a recent article with the NY Daily News Tim dishes about Anna Wintour, Isaac Mizrahi, Martha Stewart's daughter and some of the designers from Project Runway.

On Wintour:
"It’s insane that people don’t call her out on the things she does. Is it fear? I was certainly afraid of her. When her office called me, I thought I’d have to go into the witness protection program"

On Mizrahi:
"Oh, please, I was so kind to him. I mean, I wouldn't have the words to describe some of the more abhorrent behavior. He really is a terrible, terrible, terrible person."

Can't wait for the book!

The Costume Institute's American Woman Exhibition

Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, known just as The Met is one of the worlds largest art galleries and this year Oprah, Anna Wintour and Gap's Patrick Robinson will act as so-chairs of The Costume Institute's annual Benefit Gala which will open tomorrow, May 3rd.

I can't wait to see what the stars are going to wear including Lady Gaga who'll be the special guest of Muccia Prada on that big night!

The Met is introducing a new exhibition called the American Woman and it will feature costumes, beautiful vintage gowns dating far back as 1890 and it will be opened for public on May 5Th and to make it even more fabulous, Sarah Jessica Parker recorded the audio for the exhibition.

Here are some sneak-peek pictures of the costumes women once wore:

Barbara Walters 2006 interview with Anna Wintour

Barbara Walters set down with Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour to talk about fashion, "The Devil wears Prada" and her signature hair style.
As always Anna looks intriguing, powerful and fabolous.
I wish I would have 15 min of her time just to talk to her. One could learn so much from a woman like Anna Wintour.
