The Documentary Cat Walk
I recently discovered this fabulous documentary on YouTube and i was so amazed with it that I decided to post it for other people to see.
It was directed by Robert Leacock in 1996 and it shows model Christy Turlington with Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell through the spring fashion shows in Milan, Paris, and New York one year in the early 1990s, probably 1992.
You can also see a glimpse of an ordinary day in the life of Gianni Versace and Armani in Milan, Galliano, Gaultier, and Lagerfeld in Paris, and Isaac Mizrahi in New York.
The runtime is 95min so you have about 10 parts on YouTube.
Check out the part 1 below:
P.s Just notice how the models walk with elegance and style on the cat walk. Those were the models not the anorexic little girls who we see now.

Jennifer Aniston's Perfume
Jennifer Aniston is releasing a perfume named Lolavie and the launch of the perfumes is set to be this month in the UK.
"Lola Vie” refers to a line in Jen’s favorite song — “Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets."
She describes the fragrance as a "nonperfume perfume", adding that she wants it to smell natural, making the people go "What is that? You smell great!".
I can't wait to smell the nonperfume!

The Story of Fashion with Karl Lagerfeld
Back in 1987 Karl Lagerfeld did a TV special about fashion which aired on A&E.
Now, 23 years later, the network decided to release the three-part series on DVD at a price of $49.99.
The trilogy moves through cultural history, pointing out trendsetters from art, music and film, and portrays a great number of influential fashion designers such as Poiret, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Quant and Dior. Along with Lagerfeld, the designers Giorgio Armani, Pierre Cardin, Donna Karan and the critic Carrie Donovan afford us fascinating insights into the sensual world of fashion.
