BALMAIN Paris Fall/Winter 2010/11

If someone asked me to choose one brand that inspires me the most it would have to be Balmain.
I just love the main two things the brand is famous for.The transagressive-ness combined so smartly with femininity and rock. To me that's the secret.
Almost every woman wants to be sexy but not cheap, feminine but not a virgin and I truly believe that Balmain is the best at giving women what they want.
Well it was Balmain who brought back the strong shoulders or am I mistaken?

The OSCARS!

WHO WORE WHO? That is the number 1 question just after the Who won? part. There were some fabulous dresses at the red carpet!
Most of which were really light, we saw a lot of white, silver, gold, pale pink but also some beautiful black and blue. A lot of layers with the long trail but also some peaces that follow the shape of the body.

The best look of the night would have to go to Miss Helen Mirren.

The woman is 64 years young and she looks so fresh, so beautiful, so sophisticated that if a 22 year old girl were standing next to her, the center of attention would still be on Helen.

She just shines.

But, my 2 best dressed actresses of the night were Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture and Vera Farmiga in Marchesa.

I'm really sad about Avatar's big loss. The movie got only 3 Oscars and I feel that it was just robed at the awards last night. To me, Avatar is the best movie of all time and I guess Cameron will just have to settle with the title "best grossing film of all time". But then again, I can't judge since I haven't seen The Hurt Locker... Congrats to Sandra Bullock and Mo'Nique who, last night, won their first Oscars! Check out the pictures from the red carpet:
